The Workout Builder on POD1UM is a versatile tool designed to assist coaches and athletes in creating comprehensive and effective workouts. Whether you are building a workout from scratch or modifying an existing one, the POD1UM Workout Builder streamlines the process, making it both intuitive and efficient.
Step-by-Step Guide
Starting Your Workout
Access the Workout Builder: From a training plan, an athlete's calendar, or the exercise routine builder, click on the option to add a workout.
Workout Title: Select a title for your workout. You can choose from suggested titles or create a custom one.
Adding Sections
Create Sections: Each workout is divided into sections, like warm-ups, plyometrics, etc. Click on 'Add Section' or 'Create New Section'.
Section Titles and Filters: Choose a title for each section. Selecting a pre-defined title (e.g., 'Strength & Power') will automatically apply relevant filters, such as exercise type and equipment. Alternatively, you can create a custom section title.
Adding Exercises
Import or Add Exercises: You can add exercises to each section either by manually selecting them from the exercise library or by importing them from previously created workouts in a Training Plan, Routine, or an Athlete’s Calendar.
Multiple Sections: If you need to import multiple sections, use the 'Import Sections' feature.
Customising Your Workout
Edit Exercises: Once your exercises are added, you can further customize each one. This includes editing details, adding notes, suggesting alternate options, or modifying metrics.
Finalising the Workout
Review and Save: After completing your workout design, review it to ensure it meets your training goals. Once satisfied, save the workout to your library or assign it to an athlete's calendar.
