The Pod1um platform empowers coaches to share their expertise, training plans, and services with a global audience.
Understanding fees for your athletes:
Direct additions: You pay no fees to add athletes directly using your coach account.
Direct assignments: Services, listings, or coaching plans assigned manually to these directly added athletes do not incur Pod1um's transaction fees or payment splits.
Online sales: Standard fees/payment splits apply only to sales processed automatically through your public Pod1um landing pages or via the Pod1um marketplace.
This article is designed to guide you through the process of setting your prices specifically for content and services you may offer for sale on the Pod1um platform, ensuring that you have the flexibility to value your work appropriately while maintaining transparency and fairness in your dealings with athletes.
For all listings and services, whether you're offering assessments, detailed training plans, or personalised 1:1 coaching sessions, you have the liberty to set any purchase price that reflects the value and quality of your offering.
Guidelines for setting your prices
While Pod1um does not set prices for coaches' content and services, we offer the following guidelines to help you make informed pricing decisions:
Training plans:
4-week plans typically range from €59 to €79, especially when they include both strength/gym-based work and field/court-based work (speed/conditioning).
6-week plans are typically priced between €69 and €89, catering to more comprehensive training requirements that cover 1-2 phases.
For 8-week plans that include 2 phases of training, a range of €79 to €99 is common.
12-week plans, typically offering up to 3 phases of training, could be priced between €89 and €119.
1:1 coaching:
Personalised coaching services typically range from €199 to €349 per month, depending on the depth of interaction and the bespoke nature of the coaching provided.
Pod1um membership pricing
It's important to note that prices for Pod1um memberships (Bronze, Silver, Gold) are set by Pod1um. These memberships offer athletes access to training plans, which does not equate to ownership of the content. As a coach on Pod1um, you will receive a commission for any of your plans accessed by members, ensuring that you are fairly compensated for your contributions to their training journey.
Pricing transparency and athlete trust
When setting your prices, we encourage you to maintain transparency and fairness. Consider the following factors to ensure that your pricing strategy builds trust with your athletes:
Value proposition: Clearly communicate the value your content or service provides. Detailing the components, benefits, and outcomes of your training plans or coaching sessions can justify your pricing.
Feedback and flexibility: Be open to feedback from your athletes and consider adjustments to your pricing based on their experiences and the value they perceive.
Conclusion
Your expertise and dedication as a coach are invaluable to the athletes you guide. Setting appropriate prices for your offerings is crucial in reflecting the quality and depth of your work. Pod1um is here to support you in this journey, providing a platform where your skills can reach and benefit a wider audience.
