Swapping exercises in the workout builder
If you need to remove a swap an exercise from any of your plans/routines it's important to know how to do so correctly and effectively. This guide outlines the steps to swap an exercise.
1. Find your target exercise:
Begin by navigating to the specific workout you want to modify.
Scroll through the workout builder until you locate the exercise you wish to replace.
2. Initiate the swap:
Look to the left of the three-dotted menu (often used for more options) adjacent to the exercise in question.
Hover your mouse in this area. You'll notice two arrows appear.
Click on these arrows. This action will open your exercise library, ready for you to select a replacement.
3. Choose your replacement:
Use the search function within the exercise library to find the new exercise you want to incorporate.
Once you've found your desired exercise, click the "swap movement" button.
4. Decide on scope:
You'll now be presented with two options:
"Swap all": This will replace the selected exercise with the new one throughout the entire workout.
"Swap once": This will only replace the exercise in the specific instance you selected.
Choose the option that best suits your needs.
5. Save your changes:
After making your selection, look for the "Save & finish" button located on the workout builder.
Click this button to finalise your changes and update your workout.
In essence:
Locate the exercise.
Click the swap arrows.
Search and select the new exercise.
Choose "swap all" or "swap once."
Save your work.
